week 3
I think this week in class was a productive one. We learned even more features for google that will definatly prove helpful for me, especially when I start my job as a teacher. The thing I found most helpful this week were the open source programs. I think that these programs will be most helpful to me in the future becuase i will be able to have my students collaborate on projects even if they can’t get together and on some programs i can monitor who is and isn’t putting in as much work as the others. I personally will be able to use open office and if a student would need to email anything to me for whatever reason I souldn’t have a problem opening and viewing the work. No matter what program they use.

2nd week of class
Wow this week seems like it went really fast. In class this week be learned a few different things. The most helpful to me this week was the igoogle stuff. When anyone has a question about anything I am the first person to say “ohhh google it” so setting up a google account and learning the different things about google was kind of cool for me. The other thing that I was glad we learned about were the rss feeds. I’ve always been curious what that meant, and well now I know. Its already been helpful to me to have the rss subscriptions on my igoogle account. Its made me a little bit more knowledgable and aware of what is going on around me in the country and even the world.
